Amiga Fest 98

24/10/98 at Albert Park, Melbourne Australia

About 300 people attended the show on a very sunny Melbourne Day (Hot!). Their were various companies, dealers and usergroups at the expo, DraCo, Subnet Internet, Vaporware, Amiga Genesis, Amiga Technologies Australia, Computa Magic, The Amiga Users Group (Inc.), Melbourne Amiga Users Group (NWAUG), The Canberra Amiga Users Society and AAG. Door Prizes were donated by Amiga International (4 A1200s), Copies of Amiga Forever from Cloanto and various games. Various Demonstrations were held, including writing to 5 CDs at once and how to use the Amiga on the Internet.

Draco showed off their impressive Casablanca machines, while the dealers sold cheap CD32 Software, and Amiga Software and Hardware at cheap prices. Notable absences from the show were ByteOne-MVB Computers, and dealers such as Power Computing from England who came to last year's show. Below are pictures from the Amiga Fest 98.
